casting shots
Ive studies closly at some action shots and the way they are posed. Seen a im making my artist to seem extreme and outrageous i have to evolve my poses from that personality too, they've got to be extravagent and unique. so ive gathered a few shots which really caught my eye and looking at producing some of my poses for my artist around them.i really like this one <<<<<<<
This one could also be a really good front cover shot too, its bold and 'in your face'. im l
iking tah idea of this seeming plain but then with those props on her finger certainly catch your attention which is what im definitely looking at doing. This i think is a shot which is most likely to be featured within your main article. The use of body shape looks great in this shot. Its giving me idea's of positions to use and the way in which to angle and position my artist body: in unique ways.

This style of shot also would work great being featured within the main article. Agin the position is very different which i need my shots to be to go distinctively with my artist and her personality.

costume/props list
Here they are:
front cover:
black-hoodied top with just big black knickers. with a black painted lightening bolt down the left side of her face. Meaning im going to have to angle my shot to get a clear sight of the facial art. i dont think im going to use any props within this shot.
other shots:
denim leotard with black tassel boots and maybe with a sequined blazer. Thinking of using like a black cane for use of a prop within this shot.
another costume is a black jumpsuit with colourful statement heals and again facial art.
I have also had an idea about dressing her in a stripey crop vest with lace leggings this also with the use of the cain prop.
Location:
I have come to a conclusion that im wanting some of my shots to be done somewhere vintage ie: on an old bagger of a car and some other shots taken in a woods. Along with some shots taken in a setting as if its a real studio. I may even get some chairs involved an dmpose my artist around them.

my costume designs
mock up of my pages
Along with 7 other sub-headings advertising my spreads and articles within. As im combining my magazine with music and fashion i have used different themed sub-headings to advertise my articles ie: for the fashion side i have put '10 rules to styling' and for the music part: 'vip and backstage passes to madams Show Off tour'. This helps give the audience a choice and will also widen the range of my audience. I have tried to keep my design suitable for my audience older than 13 as they are the ones im aiming my magazine at.
I have recently looked back over my mock up of my front cover and i have decided that when it comes to doing my actual think instead of having 2 or 3 sub-headings about my main feature 'MADAM' im just going to combine them into one and then include other sub-headings advertising other celebsss that are going to be in my magazine. This will certainly widen my audience range as if i dont do this i will be limiting my auiduence because what if some people dont like madam and if im advertising most of my magazine to consist of madam then im not going to get thise readers. So therefor ive decided to include other heaidngs featuring other artists. As well as putting a runing list at the bottom of my front cover showing the other artists which are going to be included.

costume and props

My artist is going to be called 'MADAM' and is going to be a replica of LADY GAGA so im going to get some ideas of my styling from Lady Gaga. I have an idea currently of dressing my artist in a denim boob-cut leotard with tassel boots. The make up has got to be extreme therefor im thinking of big false lashes maybe even some face art: lighting bolt. Other styles im thinking of is with a jump suit and a sequined blazer with big bright heals and maybe this time instead of face art, a prop. Im looking at creating my own images in a similar style as the pictures above. I will soon have my own pictures up of my designs im looking at styling my artist in!!!!!
ting to use for my photoshoot which are on a huge set of stairs maybe or somehwere like in a woods. I also like the shoots with them let against old fashioned cars. In contrast to those locations im looking at doing some shoots in coloured rooms creating a look of a studio. Then i will edit them to add effect to my images.moodboards

I have recently created a moodboard which is full of examples of pictures, poses, fonts, colour schemes etc all of which i think fit in with my style of magazine, pop. As i am wanting to form my artist around Lady Gaga i have chosen extreme images and unique poses of models which all link in with the personality im going to create for my artist: wild, unique and extravagant.
As you'll see my colour scheme is mainly black and white with splashes of colour. I am actually considering on using this sort of colour scheme but add even more splashes of colour within my fonts and designs.
My moodboard also consists of snappy phrases of which i cut out of magazines for example 'ILL SCREW YOU' is one i have chosen to use as it seems wild and in your face; this is exactly what im going to create my artist as. Also i have explained im wanting ti create a hybrid magazine with music gossip and fashion therefor i have used some fashion images from the 'LOOK' magazine.
I feel by creating my moodboard this has given me an open mind of the different ways of styling my artist and ideas of how to set my pictures along with giving some ideas of the use of props.
